I want to talk about T-U-L-I-P. Not tulips, the flowers, but the acronym for the beliefs of predestinarians. You must not think that the word predestination is a swear word. Many of the greatest Christians who have ever lived or who are alive today are predestinarians.

Highlight materials which support a belief in God the Father as Supreme Sovereign Ruler and Jesus Christ as His only begotten Son. There is no statement in Scripture that there are three coequal, coeternal divine beings (tritheism), or that God is one divine being who manifests Himself as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (monotheism).

The Bible is the inspired Word of God to man. It is the only standard of doctrine. All prophets, all preachers, all those who work miracles, are to be examined and their doctrines compared with the Bible. Those teachings which do not agree with the standard must be discarded (Isaiah 8:20; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

What happens when we die? Do we have a soul which goes to heaven or hell? Or is death simply an unconscious sleep, like anesthesia?

Do we worship a punishing God, who says love me or I'll punish you?

What will happens when Christ returns to earth? What will happen to the righteous, to the wicked, and to the earth?

Wednesday or Friday: When did Christ die? In this study, I will explain why I believe that Jesus died on Friday afternoon, and was raised from the dead at dawn on Sunday, "the third day." The period of His death covers just over 36 hours. Let me explain.

A BRIEF OUTLINE
“One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” II Peter 3:8

These two words summarize a view of “The Church” as the replacement for “Israel.” Israel’s last surviving tribe - Judah - rejected her Messiah. Therefore God has left Israel to her fate, and has turned to the Gentiles to carry forward His plan of salvation for as many a will believe in Jesus Christ. The Jews are no longer the “chosen people,” according to this teaching. The New Testament Church is the new Israel, a “spiritual Israel” with a “New Covenant.”

Does God treat all sinners alike?
Are there different degrees of sin?
Is the punishment the same for every sin?
What is the “salvation issue?”
What one thing will decide whether I am saved or lost.

WORLD RELIGIONS COMPARED I have not included those secular teachers whose belief system did not include the supernatural - a divine being, a collective consciousness, or some promise of life after death. For example: philosopher Karl Marx, or observer Charles Darwin.
